Henrick Fisker what a remarkable man who founded the company in 2007 and revealed his luxury sports sedan at the Detroit Auto Show in 2008.
What is amazing about this car is the hybrid power train similar to the 2011 Chevrolet Volt just a series of extended-range electric vehicles.
Made in Finland their goal at Fisker Automotives is to sell up to 15,000 Fisker Karmas in a year.
The Fisker Karma sells for $87,400 with a $7,500 tax credit.
This car can do 0-60 in less than 6 seconds.
Top speed is only 125 mph.
In 2011 the Fisker Karma will use a 22-kilowatt- hour lithium- ion battery pack to power a pair of motors driving the rear wheels 50 miles after which 2.0- litre direct injected Ecotech four gasoline engine from General Motors will power a generator for another 200 miles.
The sleek design and solar powered roof are a must see.
