Let’s say your customer forgets to pick a delivery/pickup date when checking out, or they are using Google Pay/Apple Pay and so can’t pick a time slot.
If this happens, you’ll likely want a method of automatically reminding them to set their time slot to keep your ordering process as smooth as possible.

To do this, you’ll use the built-in time slot reminders module that comes with Orderable. When turned on, it will automatically send reminder emails to customers who haven’t picked their slot yet. Of course, you’ll be able to customize the contents and frequency of these.
To set up your time slot reminder emails, take the following steps:
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Orderable and click the Order Reminders tab.
- Click the checkbox next to Enable Reminders to turn your time slot reminders on.
- Next, you’ll be able to set the frequency of these emails. You can choose to send reminders on a daily, hourly or minute basis.
- The next field allows you to set the maximum number of emails you’ll send to a customer in total.
- Lastly, we have the Email Text. This section allows you to customize the content of the email.
- Once you’re happy with the look and feel of your time slot reminder emails, click the blue Save Changes button, and your emails will be ready to send.
Note: If you’re using the free version of Orderable, customers will be able to pick their delivery date only. If using Orderable Pro, they’ll be able to pick their delivery/pickup time slot as well.
Once a customer clicks on the link provided in your reminder email, they’ll be taken to order received/thank you page for that order. Here, they’ll be able to select their time slot.
